Frequently Asked Questions
Getting Started
How do I add a waiver form to my website?
After signing up, go to the Integration page in your dashboard to get your embed code. Choose between modal (button-triggered) or inline (always visible) integration. Copy the code and paste it into your website's HTML. Make sure your domain is whitelisted in the Domains section.
What information does the waiver form collect?
The waiver form collects: participant name, email address, phone number (optional), date of birth (optional), emergency contact information (optional), and a digital signature. All fields can be configured based on your needs.
Can I use DigWaivers on multiple websites?
Yes! Add all your domains to the whitelist in the Domains section. There's no limit to the number of domains you can add, and you can use the same API key across all your websites.
Legal & Compliance
Are digital signatures legally binding?
Yes! DigWaivers uses ESIGN Act compliant electronic signatures. Each signature is timestamped, includes IP address tracking, and generates a legally valid PDF document that's automatically emailed to the participant.
How is participant data stored and protected?
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices and comply with privacy regulations. You can review our full Privacy Policy for detailed information about data handling.
Can I download waiver submissions?
Yes! Go to the Submissions page to view all waivers. Each submission can be downloaded as a PDF. You can also export all submissions as a CSV file. The signed PDF is automatically emailed to participants when they complete the waiver.
Billing & Plans
What happens when I reach my submission limit?
When you reach your monthly submission limit, new waiver submissions will be blocked until the next billing cycle. You can upgrade your plan at any time from the Billing page to increase your limit.
Can I change or cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription anytime from the Billing page by accessing the customer portal. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.
Do you offer refunds?
We handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Please contact our support team to discuss your specific situation.
Technical Support
What if waivers aren't loading on my website?
First, verify your domain is whitelisted in the Domains section. Also check that you've pasted the embed code correctly and that your API key is active. If issues persist, contact support with your domain name and API key.
Can I customize the waiver form design?
The form uses a standard template that matches most website designs. Custom branding and form fields are planned for future updates. Contact sales if you have specific customization needs.
Do you have an API for custom integrations?
Yes! Contact our team for API documentation if you need to build a custom integration or connect DigWaivers to your existing systems.
